Netscape Messenger 4
- Open Netscape Messenger.
- From the Edit menu, choose Preferences.
- In the Category panel, double click on Mail & Newsgroups and
then select Identity.
- In the Your name text field, enter name and then in the Email
address text field, enter your Voice e-mail address (for example
yourname@voice.net.au).

- In the Category panel, under Mail & Newgroups, select Mail Servers.
Enter settings as shown below.

In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) server field, enter
smtp.voice.net.au |

Leave the Outgoing mail
server user name blank. |

The Secure Socket Layer (SSL) or TLS for outgoing
messages option of Never must be selected. |

The Local mail directory
is the folder on your computer where your mail is stored. This is usually
entered automatically. |
- Click the Add… button to display the Mail Server
Properties window.
- In the Server name field, enter pop.voice.net.au and
then from the Server Enter drop-down list, select POP3 Server.
In the User Name field, enter your Voice username (excluding
@mail.voice.net.au).

- Click the POP tab and then click to clear the Leave messages on
server check box. Click OK, then click OK again.

Your Voice email account is now added. If you have set up your Voice dial-up
networking connection, you can now access your Voice email account.
